LoopRumors is indeed back. They have news stories posted for yesterday and today.

They bill their forums as "the most comprehensive Macintosh discussion site on the Internet" but so far there is one thread with one post.

One thread, I guess that about covers Loop Rumors comprehensive knowledge on the subject.

It's hard to have a comprehensive discussion on the subjects of Macs when you are alone, unless your stark raving nuts and/or have multiple personalities you can argue with.

However, it IS possible to run a good Mac site solo or almost solo, as arn did when he started MacRumors with blakespot, as Nick does at Think Secret, as Gary does at ifoapplestore.com, etc.

Running a site alone is different that having a very colorful multi-sided conversation and being the only one speaking.

A single post on a comprehensive site was more like *****s site was there for awhile, of course blogs have taken off.

So those are good if you want to have a conversation with yourself.
