Hi all, I want to buy a monitor for my tiny-screen macbook, considering Dell U2715H, 2550x1440, 2k display.

I knew that macbook can't run 4k display with 60HZ, only 30HZ, due to the limit of USB C.

How about a 2k 27" display, does it support 60hz?

Using usb c->HDMI adaptor.

Thanks a lot.

Im running my Dell UP2516d in 60Hz and thats a 2560x1440 display (only 25" though but screen size is not relevant) over HDMI using Apples HDMI/USB adapter.

Yes it does. I run a display with that resolution at 60hz off a 2015 macbook, so the 2016 will definitely support it

My LG 4k monitor runs 60hz through USB-C so I'm sure the dell monitor will have no issues

Using the same monitor with that resolution @60 Hz with apple dongle and apple hdmi cable, no worries.

My Dell U3415W works perfectly at 60Hz with a resolution of 3440*1440. So 2K must be fine too

Thank u, btw, are u comfortable with that resolution? not retina.
It is crystal clear. I've used my PC at that resolution for a very long time so using MacOS at same resolution was no different. Plus you can always swtich to HiDPI mode for reading stuff if you want to.
