I have ordered a MacBook Pro 2.2GHz / 2GB / 160GB HDD / 15" Glossy...

When i see the screen resolution 1440 x 900 i think it is quiet low and ridiculous for such a high range lap top...I am working on an old Dell D610, it is pretty old now...almost 2 years and the resolution is 1400 x 1050 ( SXGA+ ) so higher...

Isn't it odd...i do not say that i will see a big diff but it looks really cheap from apple to have such a low range display. For a lower price i could get PC with much better resolutions.

Thoughts? Anything else should be considered to make such comparisons? Do you think the resolution is good enough?

You probably should take this topic to the "MacBook Pro forum" but regardless I think the quality of the MBP display is usually very good. 1400 x 900 could be due to the wide screen aspect of the Mac portable.
