Thank you. This is kind of off topic but is it a good idea to buy an iPod online in respects to shipping & handling? Honestly, I've never bought electronics over the internet. I'm concern about my product getting here in one piece and without any problems.

All perfectly safe. Just do business with reputable and long-standing merchants (sorta like you'd do in the brick-and-mortar world) and you'll be fine. There's really no difference between the two. People have been buying stuff remotely for well over a hundred years; "online" is just the newest medium.
