Having experience with iOS and knowing that it functions differently on an iPad Pro compared to a normal iPad i.e. split view and slid over. I wondered if macOS was the same, would there be limited functionality on an MacBook compared to a MacBook Pro?

I have had multiple Mac laptops in the past and MacOS/OSX was always the same. I've never seen "Home, Professional, Ultimate" versions of MacOS before. :D:D

My wife has a MacBook while I have a MacBook Pro and an iMac. There is no difference as we're all running High Sierra.

The differences in functionality on the iPads are not due to changes in the OS but are actually hardware limitations. Similar differences exist in Macs too.
