Is Macworld 2011 worth going to?

Just saw that Groupon has Macworld tickets on sale for $10 (discounted from $25). Has anyone been before or know what it's like? Anything like CES? Worth going?

I've never been but to me it seems to have smaller retailers and companies rather than the huge giants you get at CES. Apple themselves haven't been for a number of years, but it's still very popular.

I was going to go (company paid), but ultimately decided not to. I went to MacTech and was less than impressed. The general vibe is too.... kool-aidy.

I guess unlike with something like CES it's focused on one company's products and they're all Apple fans. Might mean something, perhaps.

Ever since the issues with apple and IDG which caused Macworld NY to be killed off I've not gone.

I was lucky enough to go to a number of Macworld expos back in the day and it was an awesome event. I'd be seriously disappointed if I went to the current one, since I was going to them at the height of their popularity.
