Is Mail a pessimistic program?

When I type "woohoo" into an e-mail in Mail, it puts the red squiggly line under the word saying that it is wrong. Then, if you mouse over it and crt-click it tries to correct it to "boohoo"

So mail is a "glass half empty" kind of program, huh?

Just use the Learn Spelling, and teach the systemwide spell checker some optimism...

For some reason "Learn Spelling" has disappeared from Mail for me. Any idea's on how I can get it back?
