Yes. WoW, the settings [may] have to be turned down just a little. I don't know exactly how low, as I don't play, but Guild Wars is a very very similar game and runs pretty much perfectly on my late 2007 entry-level Macbook on the highest settings. Counter Strike Source will also not be any problem.

Edit: On second thought, WoW only requires 32MB Gfx cards that are pretty old and is a pretty low-specced game. You shouldn't have any problems at all.

what i really want to play on it is the upcoming Diablo 3. do you think itll run smoothly?

There's no telling, as they haven't released the specs, yet. I'm going to place my wager on:

Smoothly? Probably not.

Playable? A somewhat-likely maybe.

Unplayable? Probably not, but possible.

Macbooks generally have a hard time keeping up with modern games, but, depending on how graphically intensive it is, they may be able to play it.

A macbook Pro would be able to for sure.

the graphics look very very similar to WoW and blizzard has said its Mac compatible

I have a first-gen MacBook. CS:S plays terribly. The older CS plays fine though. Do the newer MacBooks have a GPU that can actually play CS:S now?

System requirement of D3 hasn't been announced yet. Blizzard generally produce high quality games with relatively low system requirement.

That being said. I don't know if X3100 will run it smoothly.
