Is MMS possible on 1st gen iPhone running 3.1.3?

I JUST found a 2g 3.1.3 patch!!!
Just found this today, and it is working superbly with my tmobile carrier. No idea how to do it for ATT, as I can really give a rat's a$$ about ATT. And no, it is not the same patch as the one for 3.1.2.
1. Simply add the following source to cydia...
http://smart-mobile.com/cydia/
2. Install the "2G mms on 3.1.3" patch from the repo you just added...(it will have the little yellow screw driller icon next to it)
3. Reboot, and download a carrier package for your carrier...(I did NOT add a carrier package for me)
AT&T users visit http://www.m.peacefulinsanity.com/tether.mobileconfig
from your 2G to download the carrier package for AT&T
T-Mobile- For T-Mobile users: in network settings:
APN: epc.tmobile.com <----
-----wap.voicestream.com
-----internet2.voicestream.com
(Choose the correct APN depending on what kind of account you have)
MMS
APN: epc.tmobile.com
MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
MMS Proxy: 216.155.165.50:8080
MMS Max Message Size: 1048576
MMS UA Prof URL: http://www.apple.com/mms/uaprof.rdf

What I did was I installed the patch, rebooted, but then the little camera icon did not show up in my messages app, so I entered the info into the network settings for mms. It still didn't show, so I went into cydia and reinstalled the patch, rebooted, and the little camera icon showed up like it should. It's been working ever since. My best friend, on verizon, received a picture message from me. I use a 2g iPhone.
