I have a 500GB (I upgraded HD to 1TB) TC. I bought it off a friend for $50 and it worked great (for about 6 months) until today.
I was using it and all the sudden I lost my connection. I check the TC and there's no indicator light. I reset; no luck. I did a power cycle; no luck. However, I can plug the power cord back in and the lights in the back (for ethernet ports) turn on. Also, the TC now emits a high-pitched noise. I can hear the fan start for about 1 second, but then it completely stops.
Is my TC dead? I hope not, as this was a excellent tool!
