I have my brightness on 50%, connected to wifi, put my music on from as soon as I woke up (Whilst battery was on 100%)

Usage: 10 hours 35 minutes
Standby 10 hours 35 minutes.

I still have 42% battery.

iPod function drains the battery very VERY little. Those are the average battery results I'm getting. My phone had 4 1/2 hours of useage (talk, web, location & maps) and 40 hours of standby; I think the battery was at 38% last night when I finally plugged it in.

10 hours on the phone, or using maps with Location Services on... now THAT would be impressive and nigh unbelieveable. ;)

Providing they're average and not sucky it's all I care about :p;)

Well it depends on what you were doing. Clearly you were listening to music the entire time. Apple quotes up to 30 hours of music play on the 3gs. So assuming you had the iphone on sleep during the whole 10 hr 35 min then you would have used up at best around 35%-40%.

Considering how that is under perfect optimal circumstances, and you were most likely using a few other features on the phone, such as texting or other apps, as well as changing songs etc, I'd say that is pretty decent usage.

Yeah, i prob sent about 20 texts, and about 10 emails. and a short 5 min call.

I do let my battery go to 0 before charging it fully again though. This probably helps.
