Snow leopard freezes for seconds from time to time, constant beach balls, programs take forever to open, sometimes it looks just fine and fast then back to the same thing. Noticed there were quite a few errors in the console.

So i installed Lion in another partition and everything seemed fine, super fast, but it just doing the same as snow leopard now, probably even worst, beach balls, freezing, programs that take forever to open.

Smart is verified.

So what can i do? I'll try a full hd format and install snow leopard from scratch but that probably won't do much.

Could it be the hd failing? Or something else?

Any help is appreciated :)

Actually Lion seems to be running fine, probably was spotlight indexing or some process in the background that was making things slower.

Gonna reinstall snow leopard on the other partition, should be fine i hope.
