Hi. I have an iPhone 3GS on 5.1.1 with blobs (even though when I query them, a blank tezt file shows up, I was able to stitch and make custom iPSW with it before, and even restore).
I want to restore to 5.1.1 again, but after a bad jailbrea, and a few "just boot" tries, the phone doesn't respond anymore.
When I "just boot", sometimes I see a white screen, and others just a blakc one entirely. Even with the black screen, I can get into DFU mode manually to apply the exploit in redsnow, but the screen never flashes or show anything, but it appears to have done it.
When I try to restore with Redsnow, I always get error saying it can't get into recovery mode, and iTunes throws error with whatever custom and non custom IPSW 5.1.1 I try.
What worries me the most is that after a few white/grey screen, I don't even see that anymore. Maybe that so called white screen of death?
