Hi! Im using an iphone 4s over just a few days.

But I feel like battery is much weaker than they advertised.

Is this (attached image) normal? I do not play game. Most of the time I surf web or make calls.

According to the image, I used my iPhone 4S for 6 hours and 12 minutes from 100% -> 15%.

Thanks!

As everyones usage pattern differs battery statistics will vary.

Other things like network strength coverage etc will play a part too.

Typically if you get a full days usage out of your iphone then thats average.

One good tip to help with battery woes is to.............. turn off the battery % meter !

Enjoy your device.

I knew that the % had something to do with battery drain. I have not turn my on ever since I purchase the phone and that was over a year ago. Thanks for the confirmation!!

Is it a proven fact that getting rid of the battery percentage level saves battery? I have never came across being told this before?

Sadly tongue in cheek is lost somewhere in translation here. My apologies.

People worry about battery usage as they tend to watch the percentage sign and sometimes hinders what they do with their device.

honestly the 4s has had the worst battery life for me out of all iphones...but like others have stated it seems to vary.

Disable location options and other things that could affect battery performance.

Read here and other places how to tune your iphone to avoid this issue.
