Is my iPhone 4s unlocked?

I bought it on kijiji it has no sim card I am in Canada and I'd like to know what sim card to buy and need to know how to tell if it's locked to a certain carrier

buy a microsim, insert it and u will find out if its unlocked or not

call an apple store, they can run your serial number and check to see if its an authorized unlocked phone.

Have u plugged it into iTunes? It'll pop up and say congratulations your iPhone is unlocked.

You cant tell just by the model number.
To be 100% you will have to test other sims with it.

This is the unlocked/black/32GB iPhone 4S model for Canada.

Settings/General/About and "Carrier". That will tell you which carrier it is on.

To know if it is unlocked, either try a different SIM or called Apple to run your serial to find out.
