i have an iphone 5 with tmobile i purchased last may during their mothers day sale, its paid for and has been in a full body case ever since, but as you know the release of the 5s/5c /discontinued the iphone5 i know the value has dropped some but did it really drop? im trying to lie to myself and call it a classic lol, im thinking about keeping it since they stop making them and just buy the 6...i sold my old iphone 4s yesterday for 100 with a crack screen (small crack) at a mall kiosk, i wonder how much i will get for the 5..

Here in the UK an iphone 5 in good condition still goes for around £200. Possibly more if its boxed with accessories and unlocked to any network.

Yeah, probably around $300-$350ish. Try Swappa as someone mentioned. I got a like-new iPhone 5 a few months ago for $310 off of Swappa.

Sold my White 16GB Verizon iPhone 5 on Ebay for $430 last week in January. 2-2.5 months ago.

Great condition (cased the whole time), including the original packaging (even screen protectors).

I think the general rule is that the max you could expect to make for reselling N-1 iPhones in the first six months is $400-500. Now that we're about a year out, it's looking more like N-2 prices ($300-400).

If I was selling it now I'd probably aim for $350, wouldn't be surprised to get lucky with $375.

Heck, I sold a great condition Verizon 4S 32GB last August for $350 on Ebay right after the 5S came out. They hold value well.

Another thing in your favor is that the iPhone 5 is the only metallic generation model of its kind. For buyers who just want a nice looking iPhone, it's like getting a 5S without the fingerprint sensor for less than the price of a 5C and usually off-contract.

the sleek look of the phone is another reason why i want to keep it lol i actually love the 5, its prefect for me

A quick search on eBay shows them selling between $300-360 for the 16gb model. You don't have to sell it on eBay, but that's roughly the going rate.

I'd sell it now cuz the more you wait the less chance to sell it

im thinking of trying the htc m8 until the 6 releases, im not a fan of android but i love that phone from just playing with it in store
