I was changing my screen today for my iPhone 6 and closely paying attention to the video. I was removing the hard thing on top of the LCD, but soon realized I had lifted it already and was trying to lift the lcd. Well, I accidentally ripped it, but only a bit from the side, and there are like many layers and I only ripped the top one.

I put my phone back together and tried to open (have been trying for about 8 hours by now). Could this be the reason? I am using iOS 8.1.2 if that is relevant some how.

I can insert photos later, when I get a hold of something that I can take pictures with, since my iphone is really my device for everything, camera, gps etc. So I can insert photos later maybe with my mothers phone, if people think it's necessary.
