Greetings. I’ve got an old LED Cinema Display. There are a couple marks—sort of looks like coffee stains — along the lower right edge. Mostly they don’t bother me but it’s obviously something wrong, so worth asking about.

My questions:

—Any idea what causes something like this?
—Is it repairable/worth repairing?
—Is it likely to get worse?

I am keen to get as much life out of the display as possible. It works fine otherwise.

Kinda looks like the polarizer film has gone bad. I might be wrong.

Thanks. Is that an easy fix for a repair person. Or expensive?
