Is my 'login' password my administrators password?

The password i use to get into the computer. is that the admin password? i forgot weather it was or not.what would be a program that i could open on my computer where it might prompt me for my admin password? just to check.

If your account is the admin account then yes it is!

oh thats weird. coz when i got it fixed the guys were telling me they couldn't get into the computer coz my admin account password was wrong. I think they just maybe typed it in wrong and just made an excuse up to me lol.

When I returned my last laptop to Best Buy in exchange for a new one (damaged) they said can we have your password to unlock it so they can wipe the HD so i gave them a wrong one They called me back into the store to unlock it
