I think my MacBook is connecting to the internet via my iPhone. When I bought my iPhone home for the first time (hehe like a baby) I tried to find my home's signal but I also found a wireless signal called "RTA1046VW-3FB84E".

It only connects if I have Safari open on my phone though. Is there a way to password it so no one else can connect onto it??

I assure you that your MacBook is not connecting to your iPhone's cellular data signal. RTA1046VW-3FB84E is probably your neighbor's wifi access point name.
