My 2011 MacBook Air is having some troubling problems.

The first is that when I tried to load high resolution images, they will not render correctly, most asymptomatically the images will turn out more red until I zoom into them, at which point they look normal. At other times, they will not render correctly, at all! They will have lines of various sites I have browsed instead of the image(this is sometimes embarrassing ;);) ).

Also when I move the display, sometimes a bar will appear vertically across a large part of the screen. I've attached an image.

Does anyone else have a similar problem or know what part is failing? I have AppleCare, but I am in college, so being without my computer is going to impact my studies and grades.

Actually, it looks like the ribbon cable between motherboard and screen may be at fault.

Either way, you're going to need to get it fixed by Apple. They're usually pretty quick, though...
