Hey guys, new 2018 15" MBP, base model with 32GB ram.

Just getting all my software setup. Once zBrush started the fans kicked in and I noticed the temps going crazy from iStatMenu, so I got the Intel Power Gadget to take a further look at things.

I have the supplemental update installed with Mojave.

Clearly, I am just doodling, and that is not how zBrush will be used. Will it be safe for me to use zBrush on this machine if the temps will be running that high into the 90s? It will spike as high as 99%.

Thanks.

Yes, it's safe. Your Mac is not bomb. It has built in temperature management and will slow down and even put down if it gets too hot. My recommendation for you is to just use the machine as you desire. Quit installing anti-virus and system temperature monitoring software. Stop looking for solutions to non-existent problems. Forget about the guts of the machine and just use it.

Just trying to verify that everything will be ok. Thanks.
