Does the new resolution help with being able to display 4K? I would hope Apple produced it with this in mind.

It doesn't even handle 2k video. It is a question I've been wondering, though - will YouTube's 4k videos play on this, showing greater-than-1080p detail even if it's not even 2k?

The first thing I'm going to do is play 4K/2K videos on it when I get to touch it. I've seen 1080p, but more than that? That'd be quite amazing.

Apple's got me wondering, what would that even look like?

You won't even be able to stream 4k video because it will lag when you are trying to stream it from YouTube

What do you even mean??? You threatened me with a "private message" days ago and I have yet to understand what you even meant by it. Yes, we call you out as a troll, because thats what you are.

The iPad is not a 4K resolution screen its 2K so more likely it would play YouTube in 2K.
