I just updated my QuickTime Player to version 7.4.1 (14) on my brand new MacBook ( less than a week old ). As soon as I finished the update and did a required reboot my laptop is CRAWLING ( relative to the way it was prior to the update ).

Opening applications is noticeably slower and what WAS blazing fast Safari is now just as slow as my Windows machine running I.E.

Is anyone else noticing this? Is there a way that I can un-install the version of QuickTime Player and go back to what I had before? ( I only have one backup of my system which I did over the weekend using Time Machine.

Thanks !
