Is one style of TV wall mount better than another?

Just got a hand me down 55” Sony smart TV from my parents, awesome unit. Does it particularly matter which kind of wall mount I get? I’m in an apartment with drywall although I have a stud finder and I would assume there are studs. Here is my TV:

Which one do you think is better and would be easier to install? Thanks!

Best Buy did 2 TV installations. I had purchased the Sanus premium Swivel mounts. Downstairs there was no problem. Upstairs they could not find the studs. The premium mount was too heavy for just the wall board, so they installed the lighter weight tilt mount instead.
