I am toying with the idea of downloading OnyX, which appears to be a free "version" of Cocktail. Anyone had any experience with this app? Any reason to spring for Cocktail instead?

onyx is slick. cleaned up a lot of cache files for me. thats all i used it for. i didn't feel like paying for something i could technically do on my own. cocktail seems to do a few extra things that i'm not aware of. but if all your looking for is to clean up your system a little, i would try onyx and if that doesn't do it for you, try cocktail, or macjanitor.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I only want it to clean up the cache and system. I'll try it out. Thanks.
