Onyx says SMART is not supported for my start-up drive (stock internal hard disk) and is also asking me to repair the disk. But Disk Utility does not report any problems (SMART verified, disk verification ok). Is Onyx wrong?

Specs:
MacBook 5,1; OS X 10.7.1
Onyx v2.4.0

Try another SMART tool and check.

Just did, used SMART Utility. It reported 1 sector relocation, but that was more than a year ago, and I know about it. But Onyx says my drive doesn't support SMART. That's weird. And how am I supposed to repair my start up volume when Disk Utility says it's fine?

BTW, I'm not having any crashes/freezes or any other problems with my computer.
