Is OS X 10.5.8 the same as Leopard?

I have a new HP 5000 printer that requires drivers that are in Leopard. I can't determine if my Power Mac with dual G4 has Leopard. Nor can I find out where to download Leopard. I can find Leopard Snow on Apple store but that only works with Intel processors. Question: Is OS X 10.5.8 same as Leopard? if not, where can I find Leopard to download? Can anyone help? Maybe I'll have to go with a 3rd party driver.

10.5.8 is the last update of Leopard. You're good to go.
