I ordered via the app store. Unfortunately I'm going back to work offshore Wednesday, so won't personally take delivery of my new iPhone. :(

A friend is due to "house sit" and take delivery of the device, but there's a chance he might not be able to do it......

Is it possible to pre sign for delivery in the UK, like some US members are discussing?? Maybe leave with a neighbour etc.......

I've been having a look at this as well as I'm working on the 1st Oct when it's due to be delivered. The only thing that comes close (with UPS at least) is Will Call where you can ask them to deliver it to a UPS location or leave it at the main depot for you to collect when you are ready.

Call your depot or leave a note on your door with the address of a specific trusted neighbour that you've spoken to before hand, make sure the note is signed and dated.

I don't know for sure, this is just a suggestion.
