If I don't game on my iPhone what's the benefit of ProMotion?

120hz displays will benefit especially for videos and content that's capable of using promotion

A lot of people say they don't notice the difference between 60hz and 120hz as some say they can't live without it

I think its a must have especially when its in demand with other phones on the market so soon software and content are 120hz ready

Quite pointless. You notice different side by side bit for scrolling - not really see the point. AAA gaming does benefit from it and makes everything seem more responsive. But you won’t find the kind of games that really benefit from it on an iOS device.
