Alpha Centauri A
I was going to get it until my friend said it keep crashing on his iPad mini. I don't wanna pay $10 for something that won't work. is it updated for iOS 6 yet?

Not yet. It put my iPad 3 into safe mode. According to some people on the other thread about Quasar the developer said on Twitter he's working on an update.

I've also heard that he is currently working on an update for iOS 6.1. Someone even posted a screenshot of an email reply from him. Hopefully it comes out soon!

Any new word? If the samsungs can run multiapp on their phone we should not have problems doing it on the iPad or iPhone 5.

Wonder if there is anyone working on a multiapp type app for iOS

Either search this section of the forums or use Google.

This question has already been asked, and has answered a few questions in this thread.

Developer stated on twitter it'll be ready in about a week.

Great to hear it'll be working. Some system directories are harder to write to under iOS than before (speaking from experience as a JB programmer).

I believe he said he had to rewrite alot of the coding due to iOS 6.1.

What have you created?

Unfortunately, Android is far more powerful in this regard. Not even jailbroken iDevices offer access to a LOT of things, as opposed to sometimes even stock(!), let alone rooted, Android.

This is why Quasar, which basically runs as a supervisor app (meaning a lot of inter-process tweaks, like preferred web browser overriders, simply don't work), doesn't really offer the same freedom as, say, a true multitasking operating system. "Thank" Apple for that...

Why don't we have the capability to run multiapp? I know the iPhone 5 an most iPads could do it so why would apple not want this function?

They aren't making products for power users, they being just a small minority of their customer base. This is why they don't even try to make their OS'es as powerful as possible.

Wouldn't even consider myself a power user, would just love to have clas of clan open while surfing the web waiting for my troops
