I have a G4 with a 733 processor and want to add 512 ram to it. I have a stick from my old PC. Will it work? It is PC133 sdram?

No, while the PPC Macs do use essentially the same ram as the older PC's do you want to get "Mac" specific ram meaning ram that's been tested to run on Macs. You can try using the ram from your PC, the worst that will happen is you will get a kernel panic. At that point get the correct ram.
