Is Safari messing up characters on iOS 14.6?

I noticed the following anomaly while on Safari.

After I scrolled the affected text off-screen and then back on-screen, the anomaly was fixed.

Has anyone experienced anything similar?

This is a long-standing bug; I've seen it occasionally over the past few years. I've even seen it on my own site which has extremely basic HTML/CSS, so it doesn't seem to be anything 'tricky' that triggers it.
