I used to use Safari's Reader Mode very often in the past. It was one of the standout features that I couldn’t find in other browsers.
However, I’ve noticed that I’ve been using Reader Mode less and less since I installed Sequoia. I didn’t even realize this at first, but today I decided to take a closer look and figure out why I’ve gradually stopped using it.
One thing I noticed is that the reliability of Reader Mode seems to have declined. It doesn’t work on many websites I tested, whereas before Sequoia, I remember it working flawlessly on almost every website with readable content. I was once impressed by how well it handled web pages of all shapes and sizes.
For example, here’s a page from Apple’s website where Reader Mode doesn’t seem to be supported:
https://support.apple.com/en-sg/guide/mac-help/mchl3e281fc9/mac
Does anyone else feel the same way? Or could it be something specific to my Mac?
Thanks!
