Hi

There is no homebrew cask. That is very suspicious.

is "Samsung Magician" for macOS spyware and/or malware?

Since 45 minutes it's "Scanning for drive information".

Do you have any Samsung storage (external USB SSD, HDD, SD card etc.)? Looks like a tool for checking drive status, migrating data etc. I haven't used a Samsung drive before but I've personally experienced Toshiba and Western Digital preloading software on drives out of the factory.

I’ve just installed Samsung Magician 8.0.0.900 and it’s working just fine in macOS Monterey 12.7.1 (21G920).
You probably didn’t authorize the two kext extensions to be loaded and rebooted.

Explanation from DriveDx:
"You need to install special driver to perform diagnostics of external drives.

Mac OS X does not support diagnosing external drives using S.M.A.R.T. technology “out of the box” . In order to allow your Mac to diagnose external drives, you will need to install a special third party driver. Please note that this is a requirement of Mac OS X, and not DriveDx."

And if you don't like it in there just uninstall it when you're done with it. The next time you need it there will probably be a new version, anyway.

There's no need to give the refrigerator repairman a bedroom in your house.
