Hi, I'd like to buy and iPhone se as secondary device and someone I know wanna sell me his iPhone se for 120€ and I'd like to know what you guys think.
ItsI the 32gb model and battery status 84%, no scratches, marks, etc

Thanks

You can get them refurbed with a warranty for that price, if not a little cheaper.

It’s a really capable phone and frankly the best smartphone at that price point IMO, but I’d go with a distributor rather than a private seller.

My question would be how do you know the battery health is at 84%? If the battery was only at 84% for the overall health for a secondary device, and if you’re fine with the condition of the phone and seller, then I would say the phone is priced adequately.

Here in spain distributors don't offer this model any longer. You can only buy one via ebay or second hand.

Seller sent me a screenshot of the battery health. The problem I see is that once battery reaches 80% I'll have to replace it which would be another 40€ on top.
Also I've been reading in this forum that battery on iOS 12 is ridiculously poor, so this keep me thinking if illI waste my money or I'd better wait till maybe next SE in April...

Actually, quite the opposite from my readings. iOS 12 has been known to help older devices performance to stabilize and improve. If you read throughout these forums, you will find out that iOS 12 is actually benefited older devices like the iPhone 6/6S/7 that incorporate the A9/A10 processors. Also, by replacing the battery eventually, also helps the performance of the phone itself.

Yes, I agree ios 12 has improved performance by quite a lot in older devices I never said the opposite, just wanted to point out all post talking about battery drain in ios 12.

Agree with this. My 64 GB phone is worth < $100 (more like $70-80) according to the trade-in websites, so I'd think one could find one used for $100 or less.
You mean ebay? Because I haven't found any other reliable places to get one.

I may wait and see if SE 2 is released.

I looked around a bit and I guess 120 EUR is probably OK. I am just surprised there is such a big difference between what companies like Gazelle are willing to pay.
