I don't know if it is iOS 7 B5, or if it has always been like this, but when I place calls, and press the power button before the call connects, it ends the call.
Anyone else?

It ends the call like that when the call connects, so it would seem to make sense to end it like that before it connects too. (The only times it doesn't do it, if I recall correctly, is when you are on speakerphone or you have a headset or Bluetooth connected, then the lock/sleep button just locks the phone.)I don't know if it is iOS 7 B5, or if it has always been like this, but when I place calls, and press the power button before the call connects, it ends the call.

Yes, I've hung up on so many people because of that. Now I push home then power to lock the phone while on a call.
Why would you need to lock your phone while on a call anyways? The proximity sensor should turn off the display and disable the touch sensor automatically so it's not like you're saving battery life or avoiding accidental inputs...

I use headphone to talk to people at home. I start the call, lock it, put it in my pocket.
In that case, if you use headphones, if shouldn't end the call when you click the sleep/wake button.
I'd have to get back to you but if I remember correctly it does terminate the call.
Shouldn't do it if you have headphones plugged in (or Bluetooth connected, or you are on speakerphone).I'd have to get back to you but if I remember correctly it does terminate the call.
I've just tested on my iPhone 5 (GSM) using iOS 7 beta 5 and I can confirm, at least for me, it doesn't end the call. Let me know what you find.

Same hereConfirmed on beta 5 with headphones, power button does not disconnect call. it just locks the screen.
