Is smcFanControl the best or do you suggest a different application?

I am about to download smcFanControl and was wondering if people tended to think this was the best out there or there was a different application available which they might recommend more highly?

I really like what smcfancontrol does, all around great. It's most like my applescripts that I made a while ago.
