Is something wrong with my Macbook Pro?

I downloaded a halo demo for my SR MBP. While playing the screen turned white and when the game came back on there was a little white box in the corner. This happened several times. Is this the graphic problem?

How can I tell if it is over heating? It happened 2 mins into game.

If it's only happening with the demo, it's probably a buggy demo and not your computer.

Get something like ATI Tool; it will tell you how hot your GPU is getting when it's taxed; you can also stress test your GPU with it see if its the game or the computer.

Finally 2 minutes in usually the fans haven't kicked in yet.

Also, to my knowledge HD is not UB, meaning it may run much slower and buggy on an intel machine. Halo UB (full version) runs great, though!
