Is Stanza and Kindle for iPhone one and same

I read that Amazon bought Stanza. I see that Amazon has the Kindle for the iPhone. I'm confused about this. Are they distinct entitie??
Where does one buy books for Stanza??

Two separate apps. I had Stanza, but really love the Amazon Kindle app. Have read about 6 books on it, and have 5 more to read. The books sync wirelessly from Amazon (if you have an Amazon account). Pretty awesome. Haven't really used Stanza, but I'm assuming you get books the same way.
