Is swimming the only fitness difference?

Is swimming the only fitness difference between series 1 and 2? All apps work the same, features etc. I know series 2 has built in GPS and 1 doesn't. HR's the same?

Correct, GPS and the two swimming options in the Workouts app should be the only difference.
