Hey everyone!

Can anyone confirm whether the new iPhone 6S bought via the online Apple Store with T-Mobile as a carrier is unlocked just as it was the case with the iPhone 6? [see this ==> http://www.gottabemobile.com/2014/10/04/t-mobile-iphone-6-unlocked/]. I am asking this because a friend is getting my T-Mobile 6S from the US and I want to make sure that the phone is actually unlocked.

Thanks!
Yes, a 100% unlocked. Just plug it to iTunes and it will confirm that its unlocked

Depends on where you bought it from. If you buy the Tmobile phone from Apple (and paid full price), it's factory unlocked. If you buy it direct from Tmobile, it's locked to them.

Purchased a T-mobile iphone 6s plus 64GB from the apple store at full price, took out the sim card and threw in my sim card, after calling and updating the ESN everything works perfect. I'm using UScellular
