there
And can that has cheeseburgers?

Yesterday my seldomly used MacBook Air 2020 M1 received another mundane, time-wasting and date consuming update which was performed anyways. While fiddling with some un-neded files and carefully upgrading to the latest Monterey and not go to Sonoma I spent some time defying 's persistent notification that I should use Sonama, Subscribe to  prison-plus for a monthly fee and this mac was not time machined as we see suitable. The experience with using the MacBook Air with Monterey was still tedious as I decided to remove some 50GB of movies from the computer on to a ssd external drive, which pleaded for another notification to “Hey, time machine me, bub” as like a bully would, expecting a few bucks while the teacher was not looking since that brut is much larger and heralded by cheerleaders and much better than you.

Fast forward to today as I was reading (a past-performance were a human uses their actual eyes and scans typed words on a page, website or even a book to comprehend a written message. ) at an article pertain to the new Sequoia operating system and what  product is suitable for this revealing wonderment. Well the article did not explain or support the headline but concluded Sequoia is like writing or rewriting messages and emails, “create language and images, take action across apps, and draw from personal context to simplify and accelerate everyday tasks” according to Apple. Then concluded by comparing the new experience to using ChatGPT, Dall-E, and AI tools, as all humans do anyways, right?

If Sequoia can provide such unexplored and elaborate AI as only elite  products (mostly from 2023 on) have the ability to perform, why are these features as “ create language and images, take action across apps and draw from personal context to simplify and accelerate everyday tasks” were computer things we did back in 1990 with quark express, photoshop and other programs? Is this ”AI”? What is AI? The Omslet-Spielberg, no that was far beyond our comprehension and ability in 2024, Is this AI like that HOME app AI? I hope not because that $25 JBL go speaker has better connectivity that anything  produced, Is this AI really AI? since this is not artificial and seems to be for non-smart people who need the assistance from a 7 inch device that is deemed useless every October.. So then what is this AI? No one is being specific even this article was very vague and forget trying to get an honest explanation from Cuppertino as everything they do is coming up roses as during their green-screen presentations they sound like a damaged Politician trying to keep their seat as everything is wonderful and perfect!

Seems to me the only AI  is offering is not AI as we know or don’t, but simply AI is Apple Insecurity since Sequoia is just another nail in the computer coffin that Ventura and Sonoma failed to fasten as the macbook is still popular and discussed in public today.

What I will do is what I did in the 5th grade, refuse to offer any money (my  cash balance is 49¢ since may, 24), not even a dime and add an insulting phrase (this letter) and stand in deficiency.

Yes I will avoid the first punch but that second will struck my gut as I pass out briefly only to be on my back while my eyes inherit a new pair of glasses, the bullies' fists as I try to free a left hand, then strike the foe in the nose which leave him bloodied and in pain, as I am free, free to watch him run away, feel un-tethered and feel a scene of accomplishment and relief.
Of course others will see this act of insubordination and will be unfairly punished, since “it takes 2 to fight” and I lost my security as the bully was false guardian to us somehow.

Big Sur was  telling Macbook users the party is over while Monterey made the party stay-able for an hour or so. For me this mac mini from 2012 using mountain lion created this message as well as “create language and images, take action across apps, and draw from personal context to simplify and accelerate everyday tasks!”

Oh right, the same Time Machine alert that was added what, 15 years ago. That's not exactly new.

Hmmmm....

If you are using Sonoma now, just keep using it.

When Sequoia is released, upgrade.

In the meantime, learn about the concept of "backup".
It's easy and could save your behind if something went wrong (or the MB got stolen).

Sonoma is useless, I just felt tired of Monterey for the 10 minutes i used that yesterday.

i'm finished with  since June.
and will stick with Mountain Lion and my pre-2013 macs and ipods!
They seem to do everything i need within a realm of peace and serenity.

UPDATE!

yesterday I had some time were I was stuck inside for an hour or so and had to focus on a silly non-important matter,
instead of my usual typing, web design, writing, drawing or improving the house.

What I did was download a beta of sequoia to "denounce the OS" now instead of in October
and ran that on a external drive on the MacBook Air m1.

I was very impressed as 3 things that bothered me since Catalina were taken care of !
the OS is responsive, the new finder windows are a important aspect in computing, Music play an entire album instead of stopping at song 3 as these other hindrances I forgot about seems to be gone. I hav not witnessed any AI an forgot that was selling point in June by  which scared me then.

I returned the MacBook M1 to Monterey and installed sequoia beta on the Mac mini which was faster and less rebooting.

if ya like the OSX_CATS, give Sequoia a try!

so I guess this Sequoias is for me, but I still can't eat tehcheese or Bergers!
