I accidentally my whole location.
Now this is interesting...

Aiming to capitalize on growing support for Macs within the open-source community, a Mac dealer has started selling Apple Computer systems loaded with both the Linux operating system and Mac OS X.

There's been some talk about getting Linux into the desktop market by having developers write programs for both it and OSX, could this be a step forward in that direction?

I think its fantastic. I forget when, but there was a Java Conference and one of the members here went. All he could say was that TiPBs were everywhere he turned.

With Linux it could be the same thing - spreading the style around.....

Good for Apple!

I just hope this makes Linux a bit more user friendly. I installed Mandrake 8.2 on my PC awhile ago but I ended up uninstalling it because I couldn't get anything to work! I'm no techie, so every bit of code that I entered into it was alien to me. Other than that, it had some nice features. Plus it was snappy. :)
I'm willing to try it again when it gets developed a little more. It's come a long way, but it's still not a good desktop alternative yet. I'd like to see how Lindows turns out. That's one company I'll be watching in the next year or so.
:)
