I've seen a lot of Apple-esk laptop in marketing pics, only the Apple logo is usually photoshopped out.

It's probably an MBP - why? Because this is part of the marketing materials generated by the ad agency that quite likely uses Mac hardware. Or, it's stock photography, produced by a photogapher who likely uses Mac hardware.
