Is the 14” brighter in all situations when compared to older 13”?

Hey. I’m going to be getting the 14” but while I know the 1000nits of brightness is only for HDR content, Im wondering if the actual standard screen brightness for browsing web, etc is any brighter than the old 13” inch models? Thanks
