I like the iPad Mini and even though some Android tablets are better, spec wise, like the new Nexus 7, I still enjoy the quality and feel of iOS7 and just the iPad in general.

I bought it recently online for $250 brand new and was wondering if the iPad Mini will still run well with iOS7 and with general usage. I mainly use it for social media, browsing forums, and playing with my apps and games.

I bought mine after the retina was released also, sounds like you've got yourself a great deal, the first gen is still great in my opinion and mine runs perfectly fine on io7 with no stuttering and the screen really isn't as bad as people make out

Of course!

The iPad Mini 1st generation is an amazing device. Very well worth it. :D

Even with the new model out, if you don't care for retina, why buy it?l

I just got one as well on Black Friday, it's my first iPad mini, and I think it's amazing.

Have fun, I know you'll love your 1st gen mini. :D as I do!

i bought one for my girlfriend on cyber monday also. for $250! what a great deal! its her xmas present. all she will use it for is candy crush and facebook, so i think she'll be happy.

i myself am looking at getting the 1st gen mini also but in 32 or 64gb
