Hi guys!
Been a lurker in forums for a while, and now I have a question of my own.

I'm looking to buy a display to hook up my 2014 macbook air.
The perfect display size for me is around 24 inches, and a resolution of full hd or more.
I have been offered the 2008 24" Apple Cinema Display, for around 399 usd (mind, I'm from Denmark so the prices are higher than in the US. A new 27" apple display is around 1400 usd)

What do you think? Is the 24" still a good display measured against today's standards?
And maybe compared to: http://www.computersalg.dk/produkt/1006958/hp-pavilion-23xi-ledskærm-23-192

Thx.

I'm still rocking with a 21" display, I'd love to get a 24" display. Don't worry about today's "standards" Get what you want/afford.

My 24" ACD is still going well. I got it about a month before the 27" ACD came out.

I have the 2008 24" ACD and it's been flawless. Used nearly every day for 6 years.

The only thing that is starting to show age is the built in webcam, which is fairly low resolution and light sensitivity for what is on offer nowadays.
