Is the 4 and 3GS gonna get left behind?

Unlock in the works for 4s also untethered jailbreak, they seem to be beat when it comes to the 4 and 3gs.

According to my experience, when they find an untethered jailbreak for the latest iPhone, the former iPhones also has such.

JB + unlock already exists on all other iPhones, so there is really no worry there. Maybe not untethered, but if the 4s gets it, then i guess the old ones will have it also just as soon.

Yes, you are misunderstanding OP's question. The unlock news from MucleNerd states that it will only work for 4S.

For JBing, it will work on all iDevices.
