Is the 61W power brick from 2016 the same exact thing as the 2020?

Is the 61W USB-C power adapter that comes with the 2020 M1 MBP 13” the same exact thing as the 61W USB-C power adapter that came with the 2016 retina MBP 13”? Or does it have any upgrades? Trying to figure out if I should use the new power brick or just keep using the old one. Thanks!
